We are heading to Rome this Fall for a family trip. Are we experienced world travelers? Noooo. Has Gracie's skipped the "Obstinate threes? Nooo. Do we speak Italian...noooo. So far it looks like we have a great place in "Centro Storico" with a tempermental rental agent, 4 flights up without an elevator, and a very dangerous staircase. But did I mention it has its own rooftop terrace and a balcony? Wifi? A washer? (No dryer, that's why people hang laundry in Rome, it cost 9 Euros to dry laundry I hear). It's A few hundred yards from Campo di Fiori and a ten minute walk to Vatican City. There's no logic here. We are going because our friend is going there on business with the Vatican and we thought it would be a good time to go. From here, it's farther than China. Wish us luck. We'll be blogging in a few weeks.
