First Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving -40 plus relatives and friends and G'ma and Grandpas house. It was an all carb meal for Gracie - stuffing, yams and potatoes. We were having so much fun we forgot to try pumpkin pie. Some of you may wonder how 40 people can cram into Mom & Dads house -- we use the patio too and even have a TV set up for the football fans.

We started to count the relatives - not counting spouses--and as a baseline number-- Gracie has 8 Uncles and Six Aunts, 21 first cousins, three Grandparents, at least 8 or 9 2nd and 3rd cousins-- (currently living in Las Vegas) --and this gets tricky because I keep forgetting whether a cousin is once removed or 2nd cousin--and several great aunts and uncles, and well, we stopped counting. I think it will be fun to do a formal count a bit later and we'll let you know the total. That's just the relatives!
