Gracie and her Mom October 28, 2007
Gracie learning to walk November 2007It's been three years! Halloween is always our "gotcha" holiday for us as we are in China for Halloween, and home for Thanksgiving. So this is our 4 year olds third "official" Halloween. She has a full social schedule for this holiday weekend: One birthday party, one Halloween party and one night of 'trick n' treating'
What have we been up to?
Summer 2010 --
* We spent a wonderful two weeks at the beach in August 2010. (Gracie picked up every shell on the beach).
*Gracie started preschool in September 2010. (Gracie doing great, parents in tears).
*We visited Disneyland in September 2010. (Gracie loved scary rides, not so keen on loud, indoor rides; i.e. "Small World". ) Parents suspect she liked shuttle bus from Hotel to Park the best
Other highlights --
* Gracie has not yet been really sick. Once we had slight sniffles and one night ran a fever for a few hours. She has been so healthy that we had to explain to her what "vomit" is. We are sending her to preschool partially to expose her to real kid germs. Yes, we'll miss those healthy days.
*Gracie loves "schmuzzies" -- little furry creatures from the "Upside Down Show", so much so, she makes her own. Hence, our house has piled with puffy powder puff things with eyes, as Gracie continues to make more "friends" for her schmuzzies.
*Gracie makes up songs -- one she sings often is titled, "A Friend of Me". The last line --"Hey Schmzzy, Don't Eat that Candy Corn!"
Happy Halloween and Gotcha Day!
